Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup quick cooking oats
  • 2 tablespoons bacon flavored bits
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F.
  2. Line 12 muffin cups with paper liners.
  3. In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, seasoned salt, baking powder, oats, and bacon flavored bits.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and then mix in milk, vegetable oil, and shredded Cheddar cheese.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just moistened.

  7. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
