Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb bacon, partially fried and chopped
  • 1/4 cup onions, chopped and fried with bacon
  • 1 to 2 cans green beans or 1 package frozen green beans
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup almond slivers

Instructions

  1. Boil the green beans and drain.
  2. Add the cooked bacon pieces and chopped fried onions to a casserole dish.
  3. Mix in the drained green beans with the bacon and onions.
  4. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and almond slivers over the top.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 30 minutes.
  6. Alternatively, heat in the microwave until hot and cheese is melted.
