Ingredients

  • 1 cup biscuit baking mix
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 3 tablespoons boiling water
  • 3 tablespoons sesame seed
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Mix biscuit baking mix and softened butter until well combined.
  3. Stir in boiling water and sesame seed until a dough forms a ball.
  4. Drop scant teaspoonfuls of dough onto cheese, shaping into button shapes if desired, and coat with cheese.
  5. Place the dough balls about 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake until golden, about 7 to 10 minutes.
  7. Serve warm.
