Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar (optional)
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 c. (1 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°.
  2. Heat cast-iron corn stick pan in oven while preparing batter.
