Ingredients

  • 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 cup (4 oz.) shredded medium Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook spinach according to package directions, omitting salt; drain well.
  2. Combine cooked spinach, sour cream, and onion soup mix in a bowl.
  3. Mix well until ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  4. Spoon the mixture into a lightly greased 1-quart casserole dish.
  5. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the spinach mixture.
  6. Cover the casserole and chill overnight in the refrigerator.
  7. Remove from refrigerator 30 minutes before baking.
  8. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes until heated through and bubbly.
