Ingredients

  • 6 large bell peppers
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 pound mild sausage
  • 1 large can stewed tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Core the bell peppers and steam them in the microwave.
  2. Sauté the chopped onion until translucent.
  3. Add the sausage to the onions and brown, then drain excess fat.
  4. Mix in the Cheez Whiz, stewed tomatoes, and cooked rice.
  5. Stuff the peppers with the mixture.
  6. Arrange the stuffed peppers in a Pyrex container.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 45 minutes.
