Ingredients

  • 2 c. sliced, sweet cherries
  • 2 c. halved, fresh strawberries
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 (1 3/4 oz.) box powdered fruit pectin
  • 5 c. sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine prepared fruit and lemon juice in a large pan.
  2. Mix pectin with the fruit and place over high heat.
  3. Bring to a full boil, stirring constantly.
  4. At once, stir in sugar.
  5. Bring to a full, rolling boil and boil hard for one minute, stirring constantly.
  6. Skim the foam.
  7. Ladle into clean, hot jars, filling to within one-half inch of the top.
  8. Seal the jars.
