Sweet and tangy orange balls with coconut coating, perfect for parties or as a delightful treat. These bite-sized morsels blend citrus flavor with crunchy nuts.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1 cup pecans or walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1 (6 oz.) can frozen orange juice, thawed
  • finely grated coconut

Instructions

  1. Put vanilla wafers in a Ziploc bag and crush by rolling a glass over them.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed wafers, powdered sugar, and finely chopped nuts.
  3. Add melted margarine and thawed orange juice to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls.
  5. Roll each ball in finely grated coconut to coat.
  6. Store in the refrigerator overnight. They also freeze well.
