Delightful cherry cheese squares combine creamy pudding, crunchy graham crackers, and sweet cherry topping for a cool, fruity dessert perfect for gatherings or family treats.

Ingredients

  • 9 to 10 graham crackers
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups cold milk
  • 1 (6 oz.) package lemon instant pudding mix
  • 4 oz. whipped topping
  • 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Arrange 9 graham cracker halves in the bottom of an 8 x 8-inch or 7 x 9-inch pan, cutting to fit if needed.
  2. Beat the cream cheese until very soft. Gradually add 1/2 cup of cold milk, blending until smooth.
  3. Add the remaining milk and the lemon instant pudding mix. Beat well until combined.
  4. Fold in the whipped topping, reserving some for garnish.
  5. Spread half of the pudding mixture over the cracker layer.
  6. Add another layer of graham crackers, then spread the rest of the pudding mixture on top.
  7. Chill the assembled dessert for 30 minutes.
  8. Cut into squares.
  9. Top with cherry pie filling and garnish with reserved whipped topping.
