Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (1/2 oz.) Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 c. Warm Milk
  • 4 c. Bread Flour
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1/2 c. Cold Butter
  • 1/2 c. Shortening
  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 c. Cherry Pie Filling

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk.
  2. In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter and shortening until crumbly.
  4. Add the yeast mixture to the flour mixture.
  5. Add eggs and beat to form a very soft dough.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
