Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 3 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 3 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300°.
  2. Reserve 1 cup of dry cake mix.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the remaining cake mix, 1 egg, and oil (the mixture will be crumbly).
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 13 x 9-inch pan for the crust.
  5. Press the mixture up the sides of the pan.
