Juicy chicken breasts topped with sweet pineapple slices and a tangy pineapple sauce create a delightful dish perfect for family dinners and entertaining guests.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • flour
  • oil
  • 4 slices pineapple
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge chicken in flour to coat.
  3. Cook chicken in oil in a skillet until tender; drain.
  4. Arrange pineapple slices on top of the cooked chicken breasts.
  5. Melt margarine in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Stir in cornstarch until well combined.
  7. Gradually add pineapple juice, stirring constantly.
  8. Cook until the sauce thickens.
  9. Pour the pineapple sauce over the chicken and pineapple slices before serving.
