Creamy Chicken Carbonara combines tender chicken, peas, onions, and bacon in a rich Alfredo sauce, making it a hearty and flavorful dish perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 small onions, diced
  • 1 slice bacon or Bac*Os bacon bits
  • 1 cup green peas, cooked
  • 1/3 cup white wine or chicken broth
  • 17 oz. jar Alfredo sauce

Instructions

  1. In a 12-inch skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and cook the chicken breasts until browned and cooked through.
  2. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add diced onions, bacon or bacon bits, and cooked green peas to the skillet, stirring occasionally until the onions are tender.
  4. Pour in white wine or chicken broth and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in the Alfredo sauce.
  6. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet.
  7. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  8. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  9. Sprinkle with pepper before serving.
