Ingredients

  • 2 cups chicken, cut in chunks
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • 1 can chicken noodle soup
  • 3 slices stale bread, cubed
  • 1/2 stick melted oleo

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, blend the beaten egg with mushroom soup and chicken noodle soup.
  3. Add cubed stale bread and chicken chunks to the soup mixture.
  4. Season the mixture to taste with salt and pepper if desired.
  5. Pour the mixture into a casserole dish.
  6. Top with cracker crumbs or additional bread crumbs.
  7. Pour melted oleo (melted butter) over the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour until bubbly and golden.
