Ingredients

  • 3 broilers
  • 1/2 cup salad oil
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic or garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Split the chicken into quarters.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Combine salad oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for about 2 to 3 hours.
  5. Drain the chicken from the marinade.
  6. Bake the chicken for 1.5 hours for a small quantity or 2 hours for larger quantities, until done.
  7. Brush the chicken occasionally with the marinade during baking.
