A flavorful sweet-soy marinade perfect for grilling beef, pork, or chicken, combining savory soy with honey and aromatic green onions for a delicious smoky taste.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a plastic bag or nonporous bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, red wine vinegar, vegetable oil, chopped green onions, and minced garlic.
  2. Add 1 1/4 pounds of beef strips or pork strips, or 2 pounds of chicken pieces to the marinade and combine.
  3. Marinate beef or pork up to 24 hours; chicken for 2 to 4 hours.
  4. Thread the marinated beef or pork strips onto bamboo skewers that have been soaked in water.
  5. Grill or broil the skewers until cooked through.
