Ingredients

  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can milk
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1 can mushroom pieces
  • 3/4 cup rice
  • cut-up chicken

Instructions

  1. Blend the cream of mushroom soup and milk; reserve 1/2 cup of the mixture.
  2. Stir together the remaining soup mixture, mushroom pieces with liquid, rice, and half of the onion soup mix.
  3. Pour the mixture into an ungreased 11 1/2 x 7 1/2-inch baking dish.
  4. Arrange the cut-up chicken pieces on top of the rice mixture.
  5. Pour the reserved soup mixture over the chicken.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining onion soup mix over the top.
  7. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
  8. Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
