- Blend the cream of mushroom soup and milk; reserve 1/2 cup of the mixture.
- Stir together the remaining soup mixture, mushroom pieces with liquid, rice, and half of the onion soup mix.
- Pour the mixture into an ungreased 11 1/2 x 7 1/2-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the cut-up chicken pieces on top of the rice mixture.
- Pour the reserved soup mixture over the chicken.
- Sprinkle the remaining onion soup mix over the top.
- Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
- Uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
