Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. chicken tenders
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/2 to 1 tsp. fresh garlic
  • 2 cans chicken broth
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cup rice
  • 1 small pkg. fine shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Brown chicken tenders in half of the margarine; when browned, remove and set aside.
  2. Add the remaining margarine, garlic, and rice; cook until rice is slightly toasted.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and cook until the liquid is absorbed and rice is tender.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the pan and warm through.
  5. Serve the risotto with shredded cheddar cheese on top.
