Ingredients

  • 4 chicken legs
  • 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. sherry
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • bread crumbs

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken legs and dry them with paper towels.
  2. Cut the chicken legs at the joint to yield 8 pieces.
  3. Debone and discard the skins.
  4. Marinate the chicken pieces in a bowl with cornstarch, soy sauce, sherry, salt, sugar, and crushed garlic.
  5. Set aside for 30 minutes or overnight.
