Ingredients

  • 1 fryer, cut into parts
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1 chopped green pepper
  • 1 onion, cut into rings
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 4 garlic bulbs, chopped
  • 6 medium potatoes, cut in cubes
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, boil the fryer pieces until about one-third tender.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients: tomato sauce, chopped green pepper, onion rings, parsley flakes, bay leaves, thyme, chopped garlic, cubed potatoes, sugar, and oregano.
  3. Cook until all ingredients are tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
