Tips & Substitutions

For a deeper flavor, consider adding minced garlic or ginger to the sauce. You can substitute fresh mushrooms for dried if preferred; just sauté them with the chicken wings. If you want to cut down on sodium, low-sodium soy sauce works well. Enhance the dish with a splash of rice vinegar for brightness.

Serving Suggestions

Serve the chicken wings with steamed rice or noodles to soak up the delicious sauce. A side of stir-fried vegetables or a fresh salad complements the meal nicely. These wings also pair beautifully with Aunt Lee'S Chinese Chicken Casserole for a hearty spread.

Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place them in a covered skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of water to retain moisture, or microwave in short intervals until heated through.
