Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger, drained of fat
  • 1 package chile mix
  • 2 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 package cornbread mix

Instructions

  1. Add seasoned salt, tomatoes, and drained corn to the hamburger mixture; mix well.
  2. Pour the mixture into a 9-inch shallow casserole dish.
  3. Combine cornbread mix, egg, and milk; mix well.
  4. Spread the cornbread batter evenly over the hamburger mixture.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
