Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp snipped chives
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 loaf (1 lb) French bread, cut into 1 inch slices

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the softened butter, grated Parmesan cheese, snipped chives, and minced garlic.
  2. Spread the mixture on one side of each bread slice and wrap in a large piece of heavy-duty foil.
  3. Seal the edges of the foil.
  4. Place the wrapped bread slices on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes or until heated through.
