Ingredients

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Kisses
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and margarine.
  3. Cook and stir over low heat until chips are melted and smooth.
  4. Add sweetened condensed milk; mix well.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine flour, chopped pecans, vanilla, and the chocolate mixture; mix well.
  6. Shape 1 tablespoon of dough around each candy kiss, covering completely.
  7. Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 6 to 8 minutes.
  9. Do not overcook. Cookies will be soft and appear shiny but become firm as they cool.
