- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium saucepan, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and margarine.
- Cook and stir over low heat until chips are melted and smooth.
- Add sweetened condensed milk; mix well.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, chopped pecans, vanilla, and the chocolate mixture; mix well.
- Shape 1 tablespoon of dough around each candy kiss, covering completely.
- Place 1 inch apart on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 6 to 8 minutes.
- Do not overcook. Cookies will be soft and appear shiny but become firm as they cool.
