- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Combine the yellow cake mix, instant chocolate pudding, eggs, sour cream, cooking oil, vanilla, and rum (if using).
- Beat the mixture for 5 minutes until the batter is stiff.
- Stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped nuts.
- Spoon the batter into a greased and floured 2-quart Bundt pan.
- Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a cake tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
