Tips & Substitutions

For a creamier texture, ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature before mixing. If you're out of walnuts, pecans or almonds can be excellent substitutes. To enhance the flavor, consider adding a pinch of salt or using brown sugar instead of white. If you prefer a lighter dessert, try using reduced-fat cream cheese.

Serving Suggestions

These Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Squares are delightful on their own but pair beautifully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream. For a festive touch, sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. They also make a great dessert alongside coffee or hot chocolate.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. To reheat, place the squares in the microwave for about 15-20 seconds, or until warmed through. For an alternative, serve chilled for a refreshing treat.
