- Mix the Eagle Brand milk and butter with a mixer at high speed.
- Reduce speed to low and cream in the powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla; then increase to high for one minute.
- Remove the mixer and by hand, mix in the chopped nuts and shredded coconut.
- Chill the mixture, covered, in the refrigerator overnight.
- Make into balls the size of an English walnut.
- Chill the balls again in the refrigerator for at least an hour or more.
- Melt the paraffin and semi-sweet chocolate chips together.
- Dip the chilled balls into the melted chocolate mixture.
- Place the coated balls on wax paper and let set until firm.
