- Cover a cookie sheet with tin foil.
- Lay saltine crackers salt side up, touching each other.
- Boil brown sugar and butter together.
- Pour the boiling mixture evenly over the crackers.

- Remove the crackers from the oven.
- Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the hot crackers.
- Let the chocolate chips melt, then smooth with a spatula to cover all crackers.
- Allow to cool completely, then break into pieces.
