Yes, you can prepare the Chocolate Cream Log a day ahead. Once cooled, keep it rolled in wax paper and store it in the refrigerator. Just unroll and fill right before serving to maintain its structure.

What can I use instead of cocoa powder?

If you're out of cocoa powder, you can substitute with carob powder for a different flavor profile. However, this will alter the taste slightly, so adjust the sweetness if necessary.

How can I prevent the log from cracking?

To prevent cracking, make sure to roll the log gently while it's warm. Additionally, dusting the towel with powdered sugar can help reduce sticking, allowing for a smoother roll without cracks.
