Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sour milk
  • 2 cups blueberries dusted with flour
  • 2 scant cups flour
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and beat well.
  2. Add sour milk.
  3. Sift together dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture by hand or on low speed in a mixer until well mixed.
  4. Fold in blueberries.
  5. Pour batter into a greased and wax paper-lined 9x9-inch pan.
  6. Bake at 350° for about 45-50 minutes.
