Ingredients

  • vanilla
  • cubed stale bread
  • egg
  • chocolate
  • milk

Instructions

  1. Add chocolate to milk and heat in a double boiler until melted.
  2. Stir the mixture until the chocolate is fully blended with the milk.
  3. Beat eggs until foamy.
  4. Gradually add sugar and salt to the eggs, then mix in the chocolate mixture and vanilla.
  5. Place cubed stale bread in a greased baking dish.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture over the bread and let stand for 10 minutes.
  7. Mix the bread and custard well before baking.
  8. Place the baking dish in hot water to create a water bath.
