Ingredients

  • 1 pt. milk
  • 2 heaping Tbsp. cornstarch
  • cold milk
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Put milk in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Mix cornstarch in a little cold milk to create a slurry.
  3. Add the cornstarch mixture to the hot milk, stirring constantly.
  4. When the mixture comes to a boil and begins to thicken, add butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the cream sauce over cooked fish and boiled potatoes.
