Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 4 squares Better chocolate
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk

Instructions

  1. Heat water until hot.
  2. Drop in Better chocolate to melt.
  3. Add margarine to the chocolate mixture.
  4. Combine the chocolate mixture with eggs and buttermilk.
  5. Pour batter into a prepared baking pan.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes.
