Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) pie shell
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 8 oz. milk chocolate candy bar with almonds, broken in chunks
  • 16 large marshmallows
  • 1 cup whipping cream

Instructions

  1. Bake and cool the pastry shell.
  2. In the top of a double boiler, combine marshmallows and milk.
  3. Place over hot water and stir until marshmallows melt.
  4. Add broken milk chocolate bar with almonds.
  5. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  6. Allow to cool to room temperature.
  7. Whip the whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  8. Gently fold the whipped cream into the marshmallow mixture.
  9. Pour the filling into the cooled pastry shell.
  10. Cover with waxed paper or plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
