Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups quick cooking oats

Instructions

  1. Melt 1/2 cup butter on the stove.
  2. Add 1/2 cup milk, 2 cups sugar, and 1/4 cup cocoa. Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.
  3. Bring to a boil for 3 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Blend in 1/4 cup peanut butter, 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 2 cups quick cooking oats.
  6. Drop onto waxed paper by spoonfuls.
  7. Let cool.
