Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 lb. Oreo cookies
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1 large Cool Whip
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 c. confectioners sugar
  • 1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate instant pudding

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreo cookies in a processor, reserving 1/2 cup for garnish.
  2. Mix melted margarine with the crushed cookies and press into a 9 x 13-inch pan to form a crust.
  3. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  4. Mix 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip, softened cream cheese, and confectioners sugar until thoroughly combined.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cookie crust.
  6. Refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  7. Prepare chocolate instant pudding as directed on the package.
  8. Spread the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  9. Refrigerate the cake.
  10. Top with Cool Whip and garnish with reserved Oreo crumbs.
  11. Make at least 1 day ahead for best flavor.
