Ingredients

  • 2½ cups flour
  • 1¼ cups walnuts
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 container Cool Whip
  • 1 package instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 package instant chocolate pudding

Instructions

  1. Melt oleo in the bottom of a cake pan.
  2. Add walnuts and flour to the melted oleo.
  3. Mix together and pat the mixture into the bottom of the pan to form a crust.
  4. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes until light brown.
  5. Allow the crust to cool.
  6. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and half of the Cool Whip until smooth.
  7. Spread this mixture evenly over the cooled crust and chill.
  8. Combine the instant vanilla and chocolate puddings with 3 cups of milk and let stand for 20 minutes.
  9. Spread the pudding mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  10. Top with the remaining Cool Whip, then garnish with walnut halves and candied cherries.
