Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. bottle white corn syrup
  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Cook the corn syrup, condensed milk, and sugar in a saucepan, stirring constantly, until it forms a firm ball when tested in cold water.
  2. Add the butter, chopped nuts, and vanilla to the mixture.
  3. Do not beat the mixture. Pour it into a buttered pan.
  4. Allow to set, then cut into pieces and wrap.
