Chunky Chicken Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 c. chicken, cooked and chopped
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 small onion

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  2. Blend chicken broth and soup and bring to a boil.
  3. Pour over chicken. Saute onion; add to chicken.
  4. Mix melted butter, flour and buttermilk until it forms soft dough; add parsley flakes.
  5. Spoon dough over top of casserole.
  6. Bake at 400° for 35 minutes.
  7. Makes 6 servings.
