Ingredients

  • 2 apples
  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Wash and thinly slice the apple, removing seeds.
  2. Spread butter or margarine onto bread slices and place them on a cookie sheet, buttered side up.
  3. Arrange apple slices on top of the bread slices.
  4. Sprinkle each with 1 teaspoon of sugar and ground cinnamon.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the bread is toasted.
