Every Day Cookies are soft, chewy treats filled with rice Krispies, oatmeal, coconut, and nuts, perfect for snacking or sharing with friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar (firmly packed)
  • 2 cubes margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. oil
  • 3 3/4 c. flour or slightly less
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 c. rice Krispies

Instructions

  1. Cream together the white sugar, brown sugar, margarine, and eggs.
  2. Add vanilla and oil; mix thoroughly.
  3. Mix together flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
  4. Combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture.
  5. Stir in rice Krispies, quick oatmeal, coconut, and nuts.
  6. Roll the dough into balls about the size of a walnut.
  7. Flatten each ball with a fork before baking.
