Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. applesauce
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter.
  2. Add powdered sugar and salt.
  3. Add applesauce and vanilla.
  4. Blend in flour.
  5. Place on ungreased sheet in balls.
  6. Flatten with a glass dipped in sugar.
  7. Roll warm cookies in cinnamon and sugar.
  8. Bake at 325° for 15 to 18 minutes.
