Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons shortening
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix sugar, milk, baking powder, shortening, flour, and salt together until well combined.
  2. Pour the batter into a greased baking pan.
