Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 c. hot water
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 2 egg whites

Instructions

  1. Cook everything but the egg whites in a double boiler until it starts to thicken.
  2. Pour the cinnamon filling into a baked pie crust.
  3. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form to make meringue.
  4. Spread the meringue over the hot filling.
  5. Bake until the meringue is golden brown.
