Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb linguini
  • 2 or 3 (8 oz.) cans clams
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 2 Tbsp white wine
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • dash pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook linguini according to package directions.
  2. Drain clam juice from the canned clams and set aside.
  3. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the drained clam juice, chopped parsley, white wine, basil, salt, and pepper to the pan and stir to combine.
  5. Simmer the sauce for a few minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve the sauce over the cooked linguini and enjoy with garlic bread and Caesar salad.
