Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 c. uncooked rice
  • 1 (1 3/8 oz.) pkg. dry onion soup mix
  • 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 c. sliced green onion tops

Instructions

  1. Crumble ground beef in buttered 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
  2. Sprinkle rice and dry onion soup mix over the beef.
  3. Blend condensed cream of mushroom soup and water; pour over the rice mixture.
  4. Spread sliced green onion tops evenly on top.
  5. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
