Ingredients

  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • a dash of salt
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 cups fruit

Instructions

  1. Melt butter in the cobbler dish.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and milk.
  3. Pour the batter into the melted butter in the dish.
  4. Do not stir.
  5. Combine fruit with 1/2 cup sugar.
  6. Pour the fruit mixture into the middle of the batter without stirring.
  7. Do not stir.
  8. Bake for 1 hour at 350°F.
