- Whisk in the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Add the confectioners sugar, flaked coconut, and chopped pecans to the mixture.
- Mix quickly; you will have to use your hands to incorporate everything thoroughly.
- Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking pan with vegetable spray.
- Transfer the candy mixture to the pan and pat it in place firmly, smoothing the surface evenly with your palm.
- Cover the pan and store in the coldest part of your refrigerator overnight.
