Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 1/4 cups flaked coconut
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup slivered almonds
  • 1 package (3 to 4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 package (3 to 4 oz.) instant coconut pudding
  • 2 2/3 cups cold milk
  • 2 cups whipped topping

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the melted margarine, flour, flaked coconut, packed brown sugar, and slivered almonds.
  2. Press lightly into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 10 minutes to form coarse crumbs.
  4. Allow to cool.
  5. Divide the crumbs mixture in half.
  6. Press half into the same baking pan to form a crust.
  7. In a mixing bowl, combine the instant vanilla pudding, instant coconut pudding, and cold milk.
  8. Fold in the whipped topping.
  9. Spoon the pudding mixture over the crust.
  10. Top with the remaining crumbs.
  11. Cover and refrigerate overnight before serving.
