Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 (14 oz.) bags coconut
  • 2 (1 lb.) boxes confectioners sugar
  • 1/2 block paraffin
  • 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cream butter into sweetened condensed milk until well blended.
  2. Add coconut and confectioners sugar; mix thoroughly.
  3. Freeze the mixture for 2 hours.
  4. Roll into 1-inch balls and refreeze for 20 minutes.
  5. Using a double boiler, melt paraffin and semi-sweet chocolate chips together.
  6. Insert a toothpick into each coconut ball.
  7. Dip the balls into the melted chocolate using the toothpick.
  8. Allow the coated balls to cool on waxed paper.
  9. Remove toothpicks or leave them in as desired.
  10. Store in refrigerator.
